Why I visit it? It's because I wanted to know if this would have a good opportunity for working holiday people who come from foreign country?

地元の就職フェアが春を前に開催。これってワーキングホリデーの人達等にメリットがあるのだろうか?と思いちょっと覗いてみました。
Yes and No.
答えは、何とも言い難い。。。
First of all, you have to know the normal course of that Canadian employment has priority in local as well as your country does in your local.
まず何より、どこの国でもそうですが、自国の雇用は自国民で保つのが第一前提にありますよ。という事を念頭に起きましょう。
When I just quick-asked such a question,
ワーキングホリデーの受け入れ対応とかってどんなもんですか?と軽く聞くと、
answer is
皆さんの回答は、様々。
"Oh if we exhaust local people, then we'll find out people from foreign country."
'If you are looking for a job in a foreign country, then just go to the other company in the world."
"There is for sure the other route that we can hire such people."
"What position are you looking for?"
「ローカルを使い果たしたら、次に探してもいいかな」
「海外で探してるなら、海外の他の会社を当たればよいんでないの。」
「このフェアではないけど、そういう経路の人を雇うルートはあるよ。」
「どのポジション探してるの?」
Meantime, this show is very open position that you can have casual conversation so that you can ask anything. It would be up to you whether you go into talking further.
When you just talk, become familiar with them and drop a resume, I think, chances are not 0% for working holiday people.
と、まぁ、無難なお答えでしたが。話し込んで親しくなって、ついでにポロッと履歴書を落とせば、ワーキングホリデーの人にもチャンスは皆無ではないような気もしますが。
このフェアの見所は、やっぱり普通にブースでおしゃべりする感じで会話できるところですね。気合を入れて行くのもよいし、色々知ってみたいと思って行くのもよいし。。。
ちなみに、肉体労働系が大半を占めてた感じ。シニアケアやロジスティック、保険、金融、ホスピタリティー等々がほんのちょっと。日本人の方には少しなじみが浅いかもしれません。

"Oh we just filled up resume in that booth.
We are not employer- applicant.

出てきた2人に聞くと、「ブースで指定用紙に
書き込んでたところだよ。彼女は面接官じゃなく
僕の家族だよ。」という訳で、
こんな指定用紙が会場にセットされてます。

思わず、「お仕事探してるんですか?」と聞いてみると、
実は逆の立場の方でした。すんません。
トニーさんにちょっこりショットに参加して戴きました。

苦手で、正直に「難しそう」と言ってしまいました。
